BAS Control Technician and Installer

Annapolis, MD

Yearly Salary :   $80,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for installing, wiring, programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and other mechanical systems in commercial buildings
  • Install BAS hardware, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and other system components
  • Perform electrical wiring and terminations for control panels, field devices, and network communications in accordance with local codes and standards
  • Conduct system checks to ensure proper functionality of installed controls
  • Calibrate sensors, verify performance and troubleshoot / resolve any issues
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Provide training to customers on system operation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BAS, Controls, or related field
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of low voltage wiring, networking, and communication protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot control system hardware and software issues
  • High school diploma technical training or associate degree in related field
  • Relevant certifications (NICET, BAS manufacturer certifications) are a plus
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
