Pay Range : $30.75 – $46.15 / hour (based on experience)

Differentials : Nights +$3.50 / hour | Weekends +$6.00 / hour

Job Description

A well-established regional medical center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide leadership and support in a high-functioning Labor & Delivery unit . This hybrid Charge / Assistant Nurse Manager role is ideal for an experienced L&D RN ready to step into a leadership position, serving as the go-to overnight resource for the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide charge-level leadership and support overnight nursing operations

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns

Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and throughput

Participate in service recovery and staff engagement initiatives

Oversee clinical workflows, assist with scheduling, and support inventory control

Perform deliveries and scrub in for OB surgical cases as needed

Guide and mentor staff to support professional development and policy compliance

Qualifications

Current RN licensure (Tennessee or compact state)

Associate Degree in Nursing – Required; BSN – Preferred

BLS within 30 days of hire

ACLS within 12 months of hire

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Prior leadership experience in L&D, NICU, Women’s Services, or Mother-Baby – Required

Confident in managing deliveries and supporting OB surgical cases overnight
