About The Position

Summary : The Polysomnographer (Sleep Tech) performs overnight sleep studies and related procedures to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. This role involves setting up and monitoring patients, recording data, and ensuring accurate, high-quality results for physician review.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and set up equipment for sleep studies (polysomnography, CPAP, BiPAP, etc.).
• Attach sensors and electrodes to patients and ensure proper signal quality.
• Monitor patients throughout the study and document observations.
• Recognize and respond to sleep-related events (apneas, desaturations, arrhythmias).
• Score sleep studies and prepare reports according to established standards.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe testing environment.
