Job Title : Injectable Technician

Starting Pay : $18.50 - $21 / hr (dependant on shift)

Multiple Shifts available

Purpose & Scope

The Injectable Technician supports the manufacturing department with a specialized focus on injectable products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that high-quality pharmaceutical products are produced in compliance with regulatory standards, ultimately safeguarding the health and well-being of our patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict gowning protocols.
• Assist in the setup and operation of labeling equipment for pre-filled syringes and / or vials, including machinery in sterile support areas.
• Support the setup and operation of semi-automatic packaging equipment for injectable products.
• Perform in-process sampling, testing, and inspection on packaging lines to ensure product quality.
• Conduct routine cleaning and environmental monitoring of production rooms to maintain GMP-compliant conditions.
• Perform setup, execution, and cleanup of needle-cleaning processes.
• Verify that all products meet approved specifications before release.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accurately complete production records with a focus on “Right the First Time” execution.
• Participate in annual hazardous waste training, and safely manage hazardous materials in accordance with procedures. This may include waste generation, container / tank inspections, and responding to chemical spills.
• Perform additional duties and cross-functional tasks as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
