Job description

Overview

IT Support Specialist position at Oakbridge Insurance Agency. The role provides hands-on technical assistance, troubleshooting, and end-user support for computers, hardware, software, networks, and other IT-related issues to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

Location : Atlanta, GA

  • Salary : $37,000.00 - $45,000.00

Work Performed

  • Provide technical assistance through various channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person. Manage help desk tickets efficiently and run diagnostics.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships (Active Directory / Azure AD).
  • Assist with networking issues (LAN / WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Document processes and escalate issues to vendors when needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, following up on employees to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Assist with data migration projects and new acquisition integration projects when necessary.

    • Qualifications

  • 2+ years IT Support experience.
  • Ability to remotely troubleshoot and resolve issues for a widely disbursed user base.
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully find solutions to challenging situations.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and general networking.
  • Insurance industry technology experience a plus (Applied Epic or Vertafore).
  • CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+) or Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
