Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

TMS Financial is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our firm with experience in business tax returns, high net worth individuals, financial review, and business accounting. Our growing team is looking for a candidate who enjoys connecting with clients, managing diverse tasks, has a strong attention to detail and provides the highest level of customer service.

The Ideal Candidate :

• Has Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on business tax filings and high net worth individuals.
• Strong knowledge of tax code and financial regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and tax matters to clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience working with S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Partnerships, and LLCs.
• Knowledge of estate planning, trust taxation, and wealth preservation strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses (corporations, partnerships, LLCs).

Develop and implement tax strategies for businesses and high net worth individuals.

Perform financial reviews and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

Manage tax planning, estate planning, and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals.

Assist with accounting functions for business clients.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering proactive financial and tax advice throughout the year.
