Responsibilities :
The Mental Health Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, focusing on their mental health and well-being. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine client needs and interventions.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to collect relevant data.
- Create individualized treatment plans in conjunction with clients, families, and the treatment team.
- Define measurable goals tailored to each client's needs.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions.
- Implement techniques to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
- Ensure consistent and comprehensive services to all assigned clients.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-ups to monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes within company policy timeframes.
- Comply with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies.
- Provide immediate support during crisis situations.
- Develop safety plans and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Engage in community outreach to promote mental health services.
- Connect clients and families with additional resources as needed.
- Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues to address inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications :
State-Specific Requirements :Alabama :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
Two years' experience with children and / or families preferred.Eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure required.Florida :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
One year of experience with children and / or families preferred.Mississippi :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
Two years' experience with children and / or families preferred.Eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure required.North Carolina :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
One year of experience with children and / or families preferred.Must hold associate license as LCSWA or LCMHCA.Tennessee :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
Two years' experience with children and / or families preferred.Eligibility for LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure required.Virginia :Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required.
Two years' experience with children and / or families preferred.Must be a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work.Benefits :
