Overview
Wanted Experienced Controls Engineers Needed - Level III or IV. Remote is an option after your first 90 days in our office in Las Vegas. We are known for our world-renowned data centers and technology solutions. This role is responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the building monitoring and controls system employed at our data centers, with a focus on reducing operational costs and improving efficiency. The Controls Engineer III & IV will work with Controls Management to develop and maintain the Controls Team, and will collaborate with Data Center Operations, App-Dev, Networking, Orders, Sales, Accounting, and Construction teams as needed.
Base pay
Base pay range : $35.00 / hr - $50.00 / hr

Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, administration, training, and evaluation of Environmental Controls Engineers
- Develop sequences of operation and programming to ensure optimal and reliable system operation
- Customer, Vendor, and team response, coordination, and follow-through for all requests, including after-hours support
- Travel, plan, and install control devices and conduct functional testing for building management systems
- Maintain databases, devices, graphics, trends, and support infrastructure as needed for building management systems
- Quality assurance of Environmental Controls responsibilities
- Create and maintain as-built wiring diagrams
- Provide innovative ideas and solutions to support advancement of the company
- Assist with product development and validation of new company solutions
- Plan and execute large-scale projects related to BMS and Controls systems
- Manage and coordinate vendor work to support company projects
- Attend training, seminars, and factory acceptance testing
- Provide assistance to customers when assigned
- Participate in policy and procedure development and maintenance
- Compliance with policy and procedures and change management processes
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years installing and maintaining building management architectures for HVAC and / or powerCollege degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics or softwareAny certifications relevant to job fieldExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to express ideas clearly, concisely, and effectivelyAbility to analyze and make suggestions for problem resolutionSolve problems with good initiative and sound judgmentMake decisions independently with minimal guidanceStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment, including transformers, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, and cooling systemsStrong background in HVAC control systems and mechanical operationUnderstanding of safety requirements for operating a multi-megawatt facilityAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematicsMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skillsBuilding Management System (BMS) / Controls software knowledgeBenefits
