The Buyer I is responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products, materials, and supplies to support production and business operations. This role manages purchasing activities, including MRO procurement, purchase order confirmations, shipment tracking, and resolution of receipt discrepancies, while maintaining accurate records and supporting cost and efficiency initiatives
- This position will be onsite in our North Little Rock, AR Corporate office

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective negotiation abilities with a focus on cost management and supplier performance.Critical thinker with attention to detail and accuracy.Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Pro002QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 3–5 years of related purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Experience buying raw materials such as steel, plastics, and electrical components preferred.MRP / ERP experience required.Demonstrated success in vendor management, cost analysis, and process improvement.WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office within a manufacturing facility; noise levels are within OSHA standards.Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs. occasionally.Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, and use of hands throughout an 8–10-hour workday.Position hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm.
