Job description

Position : Radiologic Technician (RADT)

Location : Correctional Facility in Coalinga, California

Pay Rate : $43.00 to $45.00 per hour

Schedule : Full-time contract, 6 to 9 months (eligible for extension)

  • Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 consecutive months of direct patient care experience within the past 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
  • Active and valid California Radiologic Technologist license (hard copy required)
  • Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Demonstrated, up-to-date clinical competencies

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize radiation exposure
  • Provide emergency medical support during critical incidents or patient emergencies
  • Follow standardized radiology protocols and ensure accurate documentation
  • Perform radiographic examinations with and without contrast media
  • Assist with specialized procedures including fluoroscopy, drainage, biopsies, and myelograms
  • Develop and process high-quality radiographic images
