Job description
A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Handle Prior-Authorizations (PAs) and Insurance Verification
Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers via telephone and email
Verify patient's insurance coverage and manage inbound and outbound calls
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience with Medical Insurance, specifically in Prior Authorization
Experience with Medicare / Medicaid program administration
Familiarity with insurance verification and claim adjudication or medical billing
Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, or CPT is a significant plus
No attendance issues are allowed
