Job descriptionBusiness / Industry Knowledge : Demonstrates an understanding of the financial services industry, Retirement services, Life and Annuities business.- Technical Acumen : Strong foundation in practical application of technology with a software engineering bias. Proven track record of identifying trends, staying current with skills and helping build an engineering-oriented culture. Good knowledge of APIs, Microservices, Messaging Systems and proficiency with Cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP. Knowledge of Application and Infrastructure security best practices. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman Framework- Cultural Adaptability : Values and consider the perspectives of diverse parties in a global context. Is a role model and organizational leader.- Talent Cultivation : Is a talent magnet and has proven skills in nurturing and developing talent.- Critical Thinking : Able to identify, anticipate and prevent businesses problems and match an appropriate solution; Demonstrates intellectual curiosity identifying or anticipating issues within the client base and the ability to match an optimal solution.- Decision Quality / Risk Mindset : Demonstrates good judgement and knows when to involve others; Uses data, logic, analysis, and experience to make evidence-based decisions.- Learning Agility : Demonstrates a progressive growth mindset through an ability and willingness to learn from experiences and new situations; Applies experience to proactively identify opportunities. Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, Vite.
