Full Time

Shifts Available : 6 : 00a - 6 : 30p OR 6p-6 : 30a, Every Other Weekend Off!

Reports to Director of Nursing

  • Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team who have been deficiency free with the Agency for Healthcare Administration for over 10 years. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care to our patients. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in promoting patient health and well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health management and treatments.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote coordinated patient care and improve outcomes.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Qualifications :
  • Valid LPN license in Florida.
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting of at least two years in Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and transferring patients as needed.
