• Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, Gynecology\n
• Shift : 12-hour nights (straight nights); occasional day shifts as needed\n
• Schedule : 36 guaranteed hours / week; every other weekend and holiday required\n
• Orientation : 36 hours for travel nurses\n
• Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs for Gyn and Mom / Baby; hospital-provided scrubs for L&D\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $2240 - $2400\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology nursing\n
• Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP (STABLE preferred)\n
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and care for high-risk L&D patients\n
• Ability to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed\n
• Experience with EPIC and OBIX healthcare documentation systems preferred\n
• Must reside outside an 80-mile radius of Bismarck, ND\nL&D RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including high-risk cases\n
• Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns, and post-operative care for Gyn patients\n
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings and vital signs\n
• Operate equipment such as fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, and centralized monitoring systems\n
• Float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed\n
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC and OBIX systems\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
