Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled, motivated, and versatile Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our Rotating Specialty Team. This role is designed for experienced CVT who excels in a dynamic environment and enjoys working collaboratively across a wide range of specialties. As a Rotating Specialty Technician, you'll float between departments including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Anesthesia, Radiology, Emergency & Critical Care (ECC), Exotics, and Primary Care, providing essential technical support as assigned. Responsibilities :
- Provide expert technical support across multiple specialty departments on a rotating basis
- Administer and monitor anesthesia for both surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Support the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department in the triage / admit role during periods of specialty downtime
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and execute veterinary-prescribed procedures
- Assist with obtaining patient histories, delivering discharge instructions, and educating clients with compassion and clarity
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices for patient care and handling
- Keep clinical workspaces clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians, fellow technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with pet owners regarding care plans, treatment options, and procedures
- Flexibly adapt to changes in daily assignments and provide immediate support in high-need areas
- Participate in training new staff, continuing education initiatives, and hospital-wide events as needed

Required :
