Committee members will work collaboratively to align already identified curriculum and priority texts to WIDA standards across content areas with consideration to key language uses language expectations and instructional is an opportunity for experienced and emerging ESL educators to deepen their expertise in ESL curriculum and WIDA standards alignmentPROGRAM STRUCTURETimeline : November 2025 July 2026 (9 months)Time Commitment : 60 - 80 hours total20 - 30 hours of collaborative meetings (with possibilities of meeting after school in person and / or virtual up to two days over February and April break and up to 3 days at the end of the school year- the team will schedule collectively)40 - 50 hours independent curriculum workCOMPENSATIONCompensation : (60 - 80 hours contractual rate $39.70)Funding Source : Title III - 181 GrantQUALIFICATIONSCurrent Elementary ESL teacher providing instruction to ISEI EL students or Elementary Language Acquisition CoachMassachusetts ESL licenseExperience teaching Elementary ESL - WondersWillingness to learn and apply WIDA standards Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesCommitment to contributing to department-wide curriculum coherenceNote : This opportunity is open to both veteran and newer ESL teachers.
