POSITION OVERVIEW

ProGeorgia seeks a Policy Research Intern to join ProGeorgias Strategy Team. The Policy Research Intern will work with Strategy Co-Directors to collaborate with the ProGeorgia staff and Table Partners to establish and execute policy research opportunities that will enhance the work of the Table to strengthen Democracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an inquisitive approach, data skills, research experience.This internship is also an opportunity to further develop those skills in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Policy Research Intern reports to the Policy and Redistricting Co-Director

and is responsible for the following :

Legislative & Policy Research

Data & Mapping Support

Partner & Coalition Engagement

Administrative Support

Location

The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia, with the ability to work a remote schedule with some required travel (10%).

Reports to : Policy and Redistricting Co-Director

Compensation : Up to $24 an hour.

Academic credit available for applicable Universities.

Timeframe : Temporary position, January 2026-December 2026

Position Type : Part-time (20-25 hours per week)

Schedule : Flexible within standard business hours, with some evenings and weekends as needed (specific schedule to be determined in collaboration with the supervisor)
