Ophthalmologist – Surgical Focus

Location : Spring Hill, FL

Employment Type : Full-Time | Onsite | Independent Practice Setting

Start Date : Early 2026

Compensation : Guaranteed Base $400,000+ (for initial period), then transition to % of collections

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Ophthalmologist to join our established practice in Spring Hill, Florida . This is a forward-looking opportunity ideal for a provider with a strong residency background and a desire to practice independently. The incoming physician will take over a high-volume practice and perform surgical procedures with the support of a streamlined clinical team.

This position is projected to begin in early 2026 and may include a transition period with the current physician to ensure continuity of care and operational success.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care, including surgical services

Manage a full patient panel with autonomy and clinical independence

Collaborate with administrative and support staff to ensure excellent patient experience

Maintain high standards in documentation and clinical compliance

Qualifications :

MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology

Eligible for Florida medical licensure

Comfortable practicing as the sole ophthalmologist at the location

Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Benefits :

Base Salary : $400,000 guaranteed for a limited time (typically 6 months)

Productivity Model : Transition to % of collections (typically exceeding guarantee by 6 months)
