Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Sioux Falls, South Dakota (57105)

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts : 4x10 hour days per week (40 hours / week), every third weekend (8 : 00am–6 : 30pm); weekday shifts are 7 : 00am–5 : 30pm and 8 : 00am–6 : 30pm

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2380–$2550

Unit : Radiology (OR, ER, inpatient portable workflow; no diagnostic fluoroscopy required)

Orientation : 1 week (includes computer training and hands-on mentorship)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech

Current ARRT (R) certification

Current BLS certification (AHA)

Proficiency in operating c-arm equipment

Experience with EPIC charting and SECTRA PACS system preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care healthcare environment

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform X-rays in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and inpatient units

Provide portable radiology services on patient floors and in the Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Support OR and PACU areas as needed

Float within Diagnostic Radiology, including OR coverage

Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

Participate in comprehensive orientation and ongoing training
