Technical Sales Rep

Position Overview

Demonstrates leadership, integrity, teamwork, quality, and urgency to achieve customer satisfaction, market dominance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular calls (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and respond to 24 / 7 emergency customer calls.
• Participate in quoting parts and service, owning the quote process, presentation, and follow-up.
• Travel overnight during the week as required.
• Monitor and direct customer parts & service delivery, cost reduction, lead-time, and quality improvement projects.
• Facilitate component management and service exchange programs with parts personnel.
• Expand aftermarket product offerings such as Wire Rope, G.E.T., etc.
• Advise machine owners on operating costs for Caterpillar and non-OEM equipment.
• Inspect machines and provide evaluations.
• Coordinate with CAT mining support on warranty and goodwill issues.
• Adhere to standards related to quality, safety, cost, and ergonomics.
