Manufacturing Supervisory Engineer

About the Role :

Reporting to the Production Manager. Work highly independently - not only mentoring engineers but also effectively leading a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks supporting equipment qualification. Provide oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members. Set day-to-day operational objectives for individuals or teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and lead technical training in critical product area(s).
  • Provide support / manager input to PFP reviews.
  • Lead Manufacturing programs and Global Manufacturing Expansion.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues, cost and schedule.

Qualifications :

  • Encourage technical excellence and rigor in the group's work, including offering peer check opportunities.
  • Support manager in development of resources, including regular check-ins, review of TLDP progression, assignments for development, onboarding of new hires, etc.
  • Promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and Westinghouse's strong Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as sub-contractors, partners, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
  • We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
