CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Germantown, TN 38138 (Memphis area)

Assignment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Start Dates : 11 / 17 / 2025, 12 / 1 / 2025, or 12 / 15 / 2025

Duration : 13-week contract

Shifts : Day shifts; 4x10s or 5x8s (may vary per manager's needs)

Shift Hours : 07 : 00 – 19 : 00 (12-hour days)

Call Requirement : Yes, call rotation required

Weekend Requirement : As needed

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910

CVOR RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines)

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred

At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment

BSN preferred

Cerner charting experience preferred

Willingness to take call and work weekends as needed

Ability to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's

Travel nurses must live at least 100 miles from the facility

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at application

Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), prioritizing patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes

Support the surgical team with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for cardiovascular patients

Monitor and assess patient status throughout surgical procedures

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality clinical support

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner (preferred)

Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as required

Float to similar units within a 20-mile radius if needed
