Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide vital support in patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses or licensed Nurses. This role entails assisting with routine patient activities, ensuring a comfortable environment, and performing clerical tasks to support our nursing unit.

- Assist in the seamless admission, transfer, and discharge processes for patients.
- Complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare patient rooms for new admissions by arranging IV pots and adjusting beds to appropriate levels.
- Ensure all patient belongings are accounted for during discharge.
- Safely transport stable patients when required.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of patients during transportation and family interactions.
- Manage equipment and supply inventory by cleaning, procuring, and returning items as needed.
- Run errands to support the nursing unit's operations.
- Assist licensed staff in creating a safe and comfortable environment by replenishing supplies like water, linens, and towels.
- Perform specific patient care tasks according to established protocols and document them appropriately.
- Monitor and report any significant changes in a patient’s condition to the supervising nurse promptly.
- Help maintain organized unit supplies and assist with stock orders as needed.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with team members during and between shifts to ensure continuity of care.
- Attend to patient calls and requests in a timely manner.
- Adapt patient care methods to meet the unique physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of each individual.
- Demonstrate competency in providing patient care that addresses the developmental needs of diverse populations.
Job Requirements : Education / Skills :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience :
Previous patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
CNA License in the state of employment is required.BLS certification is mandatory.Work Schedule :
