Introduction Our client is a thriving small animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic primarily treats cats and dogs and also welcomes exotic pets, with an opportunity to expand this service further based on the veterinarian's interest. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM and Saturday from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM on alternating Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling, with a strong focus on maintaining work-life balance. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, and exotic pet care. Additional services include nutritional counseling, end-of-life care, and microchipping. Clinical duties involve examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, operating advanced medical equipment, and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality patient care. The role is open to all levels of experience, and new graduates will benefit from mentorship and student loan support. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with a modern surgical suite, on-site digital radiography, anesthesia equipment, dental equipment, laboratory services, and an in-house pharmacy. The practice offers a progressive and individualized approach to veterinary care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Team The team includes two veterinarians and a skilled support staff.
