About The Position

Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession : Surgical Services

Specialty : Operating Room Surgical Tech

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years in surgical technology is required.

Experience in Neuro (spines / crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) cases is highly preferred.

License :

Active Surgical Technologist License is required.

Certifications :

NBSTSA certification is required.

BLS certification is required.

Must-Have :

Clienttion badge must be provided by the traveler.

Ability to participate in the holiday rotation and work a weekend shift every four weeks is required.

Willingness to take up to four call shifts every four weeks is necessary.

Travelers must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Description :

The position requires working in the operating room with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

The working hours will be from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

Travelers will be expected to assist with a variety of surgical cases that include orthopedics, neuro, ENT, robotics, transplants, trauma, and more.

The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong teamwork and communication skills.

The facility is a level-one trauma center with a commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and care.

Additional responsibilities may include maintaining sterile fields, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring equipment availability.

Travelers should be prepared for possible assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season.
