At Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing , we’re seeking an experienced and motivated RN Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) to lead our education and employee health programs. Your Responsibilities
As the RN Staff Development Coordinator , you will :
Plan, coordinate, and deliver ongoing education and in-service training for staff.
Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of competencies.
Oversee annual mandatory and continuing education programs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Teach in-house CNA and specialty training courses.
Coordinate the employee health program, including immunizations, flu shots, and physicals.
Monitor and ensure up-to-date licensure and certifications for all facility staff.
Support and collaborate with infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Active Georgia RN license (required)
Prior experience in staff education, infection control, or clinical leadership in a long-term care setting preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A passion for mentoring, teaching, and building strong teams
