UI / UX Front-End Development Engineer (Remote Flexibility)

We are actively seeking a talented UI / UX Front-End Engineer who is eager to contribute to the cutting-edge DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) program. This platform utilizes AI for advanced data enrichment, triage, and analytics, supporting the Defense and Intelligence Community.

This position includes a flexible work schedule with occasional remote work opportunities, tailored to meet client requirements and deliverables. While most of the work is on-site at our office in Bethesda, MD, we value work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using

ReactJS and Python .

Engage in coding, testing, and debugging both new and existing applications.

Enhance user experiences by refining and implementing modern user interfaces.

Conduct rigorous unit testing through automated tools to ensure high quality.

Collaborate with a diverse team, including end users, analysts, software engineers, and data scientists, to optimize performance and usability.

Participate in peer code reviews to foster a culture of quality and improvement.

Utilize modern virtualization technologies such as Docker and Podman.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 4-8 years of relevant experience.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with modern front-end technologies such as ReactJS and / or Angular.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.

Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for working with JSON data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring well-documented code.

Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.

Preferred Qualifications :

Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Experience writing frontend unit tests.

Experience with backend web API services, particularly in Python.

Proficient in coding in Python and familiar with NoSQL datastores like Elasticsearch.

Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.

Up-to-date familiarity with emerging front-end technologies.

Pay Range :

$85,150.00 - $153,925.00
