Our diverse caseload across swing bed / inpatient and outpatient, the occasional weekend / on-call expectations, and preferred experience with Cerner, ReDoc, and LSVT.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based OT interventions across swing bed / inpatient and outpatient programs.

Manage a diverse caseload (orthopedic, neuro, post-acute, functional decline, ADL / IADL training, cognition, falls, balance, UE rehab).

Collaborate closely with PT / SLP / MD / RN / Case Management to drive safe, efficient discharges and superior outcomes.

Document clearly and efficiently; complete functional measures and patient education.

Flex to occasional weekend coverage; participate in the on-call rotation (with on-call pay).

Contribute ideas to improve patient flow, access, and quality, your voice matters here.

What You Bring

Licensed Occupational Therapist (Michigan) or eligible.

Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient-first mindset.

Comfortable juggling an inpatient / outpatient mix and adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Tech-savvy and efficient with documentation.

Bonus Points

Experience with Cerner and ReDoc .

LSVT BIG / LOUD certification (or strong interest in obtaining it).

Prior swing bed or acute care experience.

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required : Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan and current CPR certification; Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred (Masters and Bachelors accepted) from an accredited university / OT program

Preferred : A professional who has a passion to deliver great patient care and experience.

  • Computer Skills

  • Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including electronic medical records, word processing and email.
  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :

  • Experience completing the patient care process including evaluation, assessment, intervention, re-assessment, revision and outcomes reporting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency finding, evaluating, interpreting and applying current patient care research literature.
  • Experience analyzing subjective reports and quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data.
  • Able to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and flexibility to work effectively with supervisors, co-workers, patients and the general public.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance as part of the team.
  • Capable of coordinating efforts and collaborating with a variety of individuals having conflicting agendas.
  • Ability to establish and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Capable of explaining complex issues in a concise manner to patients and co-workers.
