Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through phone calls, text, email, in person meetings, social platforms, and referral outreach
Understand and evaluate client insurance needs across auto, home, renters, landlord, umbrella, business, commercial auto, general liability, workers compensation, and life insurance
Provide tailored recommendations and explain coverage options clearly and effectively
Manage pipeline of leads using internal CRM systems and activity tracking tools
Follow up persistently, professionally, and with attention to detail
Meet weekly and monthly production goals as outlined by leadership
Participate in daily check ins, coaching sessions, and team huddles to stay aligned with agency goals
Learn and navigate modern insurance technology tools to support quoting, binding, policy servicing, and communication workflows
Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, compliance, and professionalism in all client interactions
Continuously develop product knowledge and improve industry understanding through ongoing training sessions and carrier updates
Collaborate with service and support teams to ensure smooth policy onboarding and renewal processes
Demonstrate accountability by logging daily activity, progress, wins, and challenges
Stay adaptable and open to feedback and change as the agency grows and adopts new tools and strategies
Display strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and customer centricity
Set personal and professional goals that align with agency objectives and strive for excellence daily
Engage in the full lifecycle of the customer experience, from initial inquiry to long term retention and referral generation
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
People person who is approachable, confident, and able to build rapport quickly
Excellent phone presence with clear, friendly, and persuasive communication
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously
Able to follow structure and systems while contributing to creative solutions
Sales experience preferred, but not required
No prior insurance experience needed we will train the right person
Must be comfortable with technology and willing to learn new software
Quick to adapt to new processes, systems, and client needs
Able to receive coaching, constructive feedback, and performance metrics
Motivated by goals, results, and personal achievement
Committed to professionalism and ethical conduct at all times
Career oriented with a desire to grow with a company long term
