We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and values accuracy and organization.

Please note : This position requires 100% on-site presence at our new property support office located in Grand Rapids, MI. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Prepare weekly sales reports
• Record and reconcile company credit card activity
• Complete daily credit card deposits
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Process monthly journal entries and accruals
• Assist with accounts payable
• Manage accounting email
• Analyze and post monthly inventory adjustments
• Assist with closing month-end and year-year financials
• Assist with special projects as needed

COMPETENCIES :

REQUIRED / PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record – satisfactory criminal background screening required – professional references

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY

This position does not manage any staff members.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm.
