Director-Lung Transplant / Cardiovascular Services
Responsible for : The Director of Lung Transplant and Advanced Cardiac Services is a key operational and strategic leader responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and performance of the institution's advanced heart failure and transplant programs. This individual ensures high-quality, efficient, and compliant delivery of services across heart failure, LVAD, and heart / lung transplant service lines. Working collaboratively with medical, surgical, nursing, and administrative leadership, the Director plays a crucial role in driving programmatic growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting quality improvement, and enhancing multidisciplinary team performance.
Qualifications :
Minimum education required : Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field required.
Minimum experience required : Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in a complex healthcare setting with experience with UNOS, CMLS, and other regulatory bodies required.
Experience in Transplant, Cardiology, or Critical Care programs preferred.
Minimum licensure / certification required by law : Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (or NLC / eNLC multistate license) is required for anyone who has obtained a BSN and / or MSN.
Additional qualifications : Experience in an Advanced Heart Failure clinic and / or Heart Transplant program is preferred.
