The position is for a full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in Tarrant County, TX, responsible for managing a large volume of deliveries and outpatient OB / GYN visits. The physician will collaborate with neonatologists and maternal-fetal specialists, perform deliveries, and respond to emergencies in a hospital setting. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in OB / GYN and possess an active Texas medical license, with various benefits including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Our client in Tarrant County, TX is in need of a Hospitalist (OB / GYN) Physician for a full-time assignment!

Job details :

• Start : ASAP
• Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month
• Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts / month (still benefit eligible)
• Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible
• Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
• Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
• Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB / GYN triage visits annually.
• Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
• Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
• Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
• Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
• Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
• Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
