Job description

A medical facility in Kentucky is seeking a skilled radiologist for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a chance to work in an inpatient setting with a supportive team and flexible scheduling. Below are the details :

Position Highlights

  • Start Date

January 6, 2025

  • End Date

    • July 31, 2025

  • Schedule

    • Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

  • On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
  • Setting

    • Inpatient with telehealth components

  • Patients Per Shift

    • TBD

    Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of radiology services including :

    • CT, MRI, general radiology, ultrasound, and interventional procedures

  • Mammography (including interventional breast procedures)
  • Advanced diagnostic imaging, including nuclear medicine and PET scans
  • No admissions or outpatient services required

    • Facility and Support

  • 295-bed inpatient facility
  • Temporary hospital privileges available for quick onboarding
  • Full EMR system (MediTech) in place
  • Support staff includes one RN, with no additional supervisory requirements

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certification

    • Required in Radiology

  • Licensure

    • Must hold a Kentucky license or qualify through IMLC

  • Certifications

    • ABLS

    Additional Details

  • Estimated credentialing timeframe : 45 days
  • Travel and lodging reimbursement available
  • The facility observes major holidays including Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Christmas
