Total Bed Count : 44

Bed Types and How Divided : All med / surg, including 8 stroke beds

Staffing Ratios :

Days 1 : 5. Most days its 1 : 4 but at times it can be 1 : 5

Nights 1 : 4 or 5

Weekends 1 : 4 or 5

Schedule Requirements :

Call Required : No

Float Required : Depends on staffing of other units and our current census, staff may be asked to float

Weekend Coverage : every other weekend, or six weekend shifts per six week scheduling period depending on the need of the unit

Scheduling Type : The scheduler schedules where needed

Unit Systems :

Medication System : Omnicell

Documentation System : EPIC

Support :

IV Teams : Yes, Dayshift

Lift Teams : No

Pharmacy : Yes, 24 / 7

Phlebotomy : Yes, 24 / 7

Transportation : Yes, 7am-10 : 30pm

Unit Secretary : Yes, Department Patient Registration

Provider Coverage :

Intensivist : Yes, 24 / 7

Hospitalist : Yes, 24 / 7
