Position Overview

Amplytics is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to drive complex data analysis projects for our clients. In this role, you will manage complex data analysis projects using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires both technical excellence and strong business acumen to deliver impactful insights that drive client success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions tailored to specific business requirements
• Develop complex data models using DAX to solve sophisticated business problems
• Create intuitive, interactive dashboards that effectively communicate key business insights
• Implement efficient ETL processes using Power Query for data preparation and transformation
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and data models for enterprise-scale solutions
• Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for existing Power BI implementations
• Train client teams on Power BI and DAX fundamentals to ensure knowledge transfer
• Implement data governance and security protocols within Power BI environments
• Establish reporting frameworks and best practices for sustainable analytics
• Document technical specifications and create user guides for implemented solutions
• Stay current with Power BI updates and incorporate new features into client solutions

Work Location

This position requires onsite presence at client locations and / or our San Francisco office up to 2 days per week. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is hybrid (partial remote / partial onsite) and is not eligible for full remote work.

Compensation

As required by California law, the base salary range for this position in San Francisco is $90,000 to $130,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
