Looking for practical experience in product engineering? Join DRS Land Electronics in Melbourne, FL, as a Spring 2025 Product Engineer Intern. Contribute to the construction and enhancement of compute and display systems for military vehicles, gaining valuable skills and insights.

What You Will Do

As a Leonardo DRS Product Engineering Intern, you will :

• Test and Troubleshoot : Ensure smooth and precise operation of our electrical systems and Intel PC chipsets through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
• Support Design and Development : Collaborate with the design and development team to modify and improve semiconductor processes. Analyze data and solve design challenges to meet production requirements.
• Task Ownership : Handle important tasks independently, including reviewing project instructions and drawings for test specifications, and supporting design for manufacture.
• Real-World Applications : Apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, integrating bills of materials and project documentation into our configuration management systems.
• Innovate and Test : Create and test new or modified electrical and mechanical systems, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
• Support Mission : Contribute to the mission by participating in the development of new manufacturing methods and process improvements, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
