About the Role
We are looking for a
growth-oriented strategy and operations leader
to own and scale the
expert contributor conversion and experience
at Snorkel. This role is foundational to the success of our rapidly growing Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business, where contributor supply is core to delivering for our customers.
As the
owner of the expert contributor journey , you will define the strategy, metrics, and operating model that ensure contributors convert, engage, and thrive on our platform. You’ll identify gaps in the funnel, work cross-functionally and externally to close them, and scale processes and programs that strengthen our network. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where you will directly shape the growth engine for the DaaS business.
What You’ll Do
Own the Contributor Funnel : Define and manage the full journey—from initial acquisition through conversion, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
Set the Right Metrics : Establish KPIs and dashboards that measure contributor conversion, funnel health, quality, and satisfaction. Use data to prioritize initiatives and track progress.
Identify & Solve Gaps : Diagnose bottlenecks or friction points in the contributor experience; lead cross-functional efforts with Ops, Product, Growth, and external stakeholders to resolve them.
Develop Strategy for Network Growth : Design and execute strategies to grow our contributor base sustainably, balancing demand for expertise with supply availability.
Build Contributor Programs : Launch and scale initiatives (training, enablement, recognition, community) that improve contributor satisfaction, retention, and performance.
Be a Voice for Contributors : Serve as the advocate for contributor needs internally, shaping product, process, and tooling decisions.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment : Collaborate with GTM, Delivery, Ops, and Analytics teams to ensure contributor supply supports overall business growth.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of experience in
strategy, operations, growth, or marketplace roles
in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to design and scale conversion funnels, user / partner experiences, or supply-side ecosystems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to define metrics, run analyses, and translate insights into action.
Experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
Entrepreneurial mindset : scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable in ambiguity.
Bonus : Experience in
marketplaces, contributor / contractor networks, or data / AI companies .
The salary range for this position based in the San Francisco Bay Area is $200,000-$260,000.
