Take your career as a Contracts Associate - Commercial to the next level in the renewable energy industry. Supporting a large, rapidly growing company, you will work alongside project managers and senior developers to manage land contracts, payments, and compliance documentation. This role requires precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage landowner payments accurately and on schedule while maintaining verification and compliance processes.
- Process and maintain site control documents, including option notices, amendments, terminations, easements, estoppels, and affidavits.
- Support mineral agreement processing and track curative workbooks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate approvals and execution of real estate agreements, including obtaining signatures from executives.
- Oversee data entry and data integrity in Salesforce, land management systems, and shared workbooks.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files for real estate documents.
- Partner with the development team to build and maintain strong relationships with landowners.
- Manage outside contractors as needed for document preparation and recording.
- Collaborate closely with accounting and project teams to ensure accurate payment and reporting processes.
- Explore and recommend workflow tools to enhance efficiency and compliance tracking.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.2–3 years of real estate experience, preferably within renewable energy development.Texas Notary Public certification preferred.Strong knowledge of land ownership, title review, mineral rights, and curative drafting.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; SharePoint and Salesforce experience strongly preferred.Ability to understand and process legal and real estate contracts.Familiarity with GIS systems and land management databases a plus.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced environment.Experience coordinating site exposure agreements, land contracts, and expansion or extension of agreements.Want to be notified of similar positions?
