Sales Associate

Fairport Hardware is hiring a sales associate. We are a local family run business that offers their customers high quality service and products. Every member of our team plays a critical role. We are dedicated to serving our community and are committed to “doing what it takes” to satisfy our customer’s needs. We aim to make our store a fun filled shopping experience.

Requirements :

• 1+ year of retail experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Instills trust and ensures accountability.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Open to working 4-16 hours per week.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• General experience with hardware and eager to learn.
• Efficiently able to use computers and / or POS (point of sale) system.
• Collaborative and Adaptable to carry out a variety of tasks.
• Must be motivated and able to multitask between special assignments & customers at the register.

Responsibilities :

Pay is $15 - $19 / hr, dependent upon experience.
