Primary location : Hilliard, Ohio Relocation offered : No Employment status : Full-Time Travel : The estimated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $135,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

As the Plant Controller, you will be responsible for all financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities at the Hilliard manufacturing facility. You'll be a key member of the Hilliard Leadership Team and partner with the team to drive operational excellence, support strategic decision-making, and ensure financial goals are met. Your role will be central to interpreting performance, identifying opportunities, and enabling continuous improvement across the plant. This role reports to the Sr. Finance Manager, Manufacturing, and works alongside the Hilliard Plant Manager.

Preparing detailed monthly forecasts for the full year based on production drivers and key performance metrics.Leading the monthly financial close process, including variance analysis and reporting to plant and finance leadership.Guiding weekly reviews of actuals vs. forecast and budget with the plant leadership team.Controlling and reconciling inventory, including cycle count audits and leading the annual physical inventory and fixed asset verification.Supporting Lean initiatives by providing financial insights during gemba walks, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.Identifying and quantifying cost savings opportunities and partnering with operations to implement productivity improvements.Managing the capital project process, including financial justification, asset creation in SAP, and tracking project spend and obsolescence.Preparing economic cost studies for new products, processes, equipment, or facility changes.Ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and supporting SOX requirements through periodic audits.Developing the annual plant budget, including standard cost updates and expense planning in SAP.Maintaining and enhancing non-financial performance metrics to support operational visibility and decision-making.Supporting and coordinating internal and external audits, and addressing findings in collaboration with plant and finance leadership.Responding to special requests and ad hoc analysis from plant and divisional leadership, including support for NPD and strategic initiatives.Training plant personnel on financial processes and production reporting to ensure data integrity and process alignment.What will make you successful :
