Job Description : Position Summary :
Avis Budget is seeking a high-performing and polished Desktop Support Professional to deliver white glove support for approximately 80 executive users , including C-level executives and Vice Presidents , at our Parsippany, NJ headquarters . This role requires excellent technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, an outstanding customer service mindset , and the ability to thrive in a high-touch, fast-paced environment.
You'll provide end-to-end desktop and mobility support, ensuring all executive users experience flawless IT service both in and out of the office. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to discreetly manage sensitive executive support needs. A rotating on-call schedule is required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide white glove deskside and remote support to C-Level and VP executives.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Office 365 Suite, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and related productivity tools.
- Support laptops, desktops, printers, docking stations, mobile devices (iOS / Android), and AV equipment.
- Maintain executive conference rooms and ensure AV / video conferencing systems run flawlessly.
- Prioritize and manage service tickets using the company's ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Provide hardware and software lifecycle support, including image creation, patching, and deployment.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for complex escalations.
- Support remote access tools and VPN connectivity.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule , including off-hours and occasional weekend support.
- Ensure documentation and asset inventory are kept current.
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in desktop support or executive support roles.Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 , Office 365 , Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Familiarity with Active Directory , Intune , SCCM , and software distribution.Strong working knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) for iOS and Android.Experience with AV systems , Zoom / Teams conferencing , and conference room setups .Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor and ability to work with discretion.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment.Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience supporting executive-level or white-glove environments .Certifications such as CompTIA A+ , Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator , or ITIL Foundation are a plus.Knowledge of Jamf , ServiceNow , and MacOS support a plus.
