Job Title: Construction Quality Control ManagerJob DescriptionJoin our team for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at $27.5 million, focusing on construction projects. This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee quality control within a variety of construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the quality control of construction projects on-site.
- Collaborate closely with three government representatives to manage and execute construction projects.
- Implement and manage quality control processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Federal administrative construction processes and safety standards, including USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 1926.
- Identify hazards and ensure safety compliance and sustainability in construction practices.
- Manage and supervise construction trades and disciplines, including architectural work, structural, earthwork, utilities, and more.
Essential Skills- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of ten years combined experience on private or Federal construction projects, with at least five years as a Quality Control Manager on similar contracts.
- Experience with Federal construction contracts of comparable cost, type, and complexity.
- Completion of the 'Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors' course, with a requirement to obtain certification within 30 days if not already certified.
- Familiarity with safety requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1 and/or OSHA 1926.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
- Working knowledge of a wide range of construction trades, including carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, telecommunications, and more.
Work EnvironmentThis position is based on-site at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Charleston, SC. The role involves working closely with government representatives on various construction projects, requiring a hands-on approach and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
