Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist :

Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT imaging, according to physician orders.

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.

Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

Maintain and operate nuclear imaging equipment.

Accurately document procedures and patient information.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements :

NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.

Active New York State license (if applicable).

Minimum 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience.

Current BLS certification.

Strong technical, patient care, and communication skills.
