SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for providing a multitude of in-home personal and companionship care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and transportation to and from medical appointments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides ill, elderly, or disabled clients with assistance, companionship, and comfort.
• Assists with clients personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors vital signs.
• Assesses the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients.
• Facilitates appropriate professional intervention when required.
• Engages clients in suitable activities, such as socializing, playing games, or reading out loud.
• Assists clients with mobility, personal hygiene, eating, and drinking.
• Accompanies clients on medical appointments and outings.
• Performs general household duties, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
• Maintains a hygienic and safe environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS :

CPR certified.

Proven working experience as a Home Health Aide.

Organizes tasks effectively, completes care duties within expected timeframes, and maintains a steady daily routine for the client.

Demonstrates genuine care, patience, and understanding in all client interactions, building trust and emotional comfort.

Speaks and listens clearly and respectfully with clients, families, and the care team; provides accurate updates and documentation.

Maintains appropriate boundaries, respects client privacy and dignity, and follows ethical standards and agency policies.

Adjusts to changing care needs, client moods, or emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Carefully monitors changes in the clients physical or emotional condition and promptly reports to the appropriate party.

Follows safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries; ensures a clean, hazard-free environment for the client.

Respects the privacy of client information and adheres to confidentiality and data protection laws at all times.
