Title : Director of Transportation

We're seeking a strong people leader to join a large, high-volume distribution operation as the Director of Transportation . This role oversees a team of 150+ Class A CDL drivers.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the transportation team
- Ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations
- Conduct yard visits, address driver questions and concerns about routes, loads, and schedules
- Drive continuous improvement in routing, cost control, and driver engagement
- Collaborate with leadership to uphold one of the best safety programs in the industry
- Represent the voice of the drivers—building trust, providing education, and fostering retention in a low-turnover environment
