Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Nurse, located in Detroit, MI. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring the health of mothers and babies, managing obstetric emergencies, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Additionally, the role involves providing emotional support and education to families.

Qualifications

• Skills in Labor and Delivery Nursing and Labor and Delivery
• General Nursing and Medicine knowledge
• Strong Critical Thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the state of Michigan
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification
