Job description8–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience (or 5–8+ for a Founding Engineer). Experience in healthcare startups (Seed–Series C / D), especially user or product-facing environments. Proven track record of shipping AI-enabled features (LLMs, agents, RAG pipelines, or workflow automation). Strong product sense and hands-on leadership (~80%+ IC early on). Comfortable working with clinical and customer teams, not just writing code. Experience with EHR / EMR integrations (Epic, Athena, etc.) Background building workflow or operational systems. Understanding of compliance, PHI / PII, or HIPAA.

We’re seeking a hands-on engineering leader to build our core platform, define the technical roadmap, and help scale the company. You’ll work closely with the founding team, hire and mentor engineers, and ensure our products have real impact for users. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the engineering culture and product architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and launch patient and advocate-facing products, backend systems, and integrations.
- Leverage LLMs, APIs, and custom models to automate intake, triage, and follow-up.
- Work closely with advocates, clinicians, and customers to understand pain points and translate them into product features.
- Make smart tradeoffs between speed, reliability, and technical debt.
- Build the foundation for Client’s engineering culture — from code reviews to hiring the next generation of engineers.
