Job descriptionExperience performing quality testing in a food or beverage company The ability to think and work independently, do basic math and communicate in a professional manner Knowledge of food regulations like SQF, FSMA or HACCP High School Diploma or GED highly preferred Associate's or Technical degree in the sciences

Position Overview :
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing, sampling and inspection within the Quality Department. He or she will be a team player, quick learner and have attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician :
- Testing of food products and raw materials
- Following strict regulatory and safety guidelines
- Calibrate instruments and follow GMP's
- Assist with internal audits and keep a detailed lab notebook
- Communicate professionally with the quality team as well as others.
- Inspect the facility for regulatory compliance
- Assist the team as needed with sanitation, inventory andhousekeeping
