CARDIAC CATH TECH

We are seeking a Cardiac Tech or Interventional Radiology Tech for our facility.

The Cardiac / Interventional Radiology technologist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

Responsibilities :

• Monitors and assists patients before, during and after procedures to include proper positioning, prep and drape.
• Able to scrub and circulate in various IR areas for multiple procedure types.
• Turns over and prepares rooms using aseptic technique between patients, assures all equipment and supplies are readily available for procedures.
• Flexible team player comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
• Knowledge of arterial and venous anatomy as it pertains to interventional procedures.

Qualifications :

50 pounds, and repetitive motions.

Require that CVTs working in the Cardiac Cath Lab must take call. They must be available to be contacted and report to work within thirty (30) minutes.
