Dental Hygienist

$50-55+ / hour DOE

Full-Time (4-5 Days / Week) – Long Grove, IL

Established Community Practice – Long Grove Dental

What You’ll Love About Us

  • $50-$55+ per hour based on experience
  • Full-time schedule designed to meet the needs of our surrounding community :
  • Monday : 10 am – 7 pm
  • Tuesday : 10 am – 7 pm
  • Wednesday : 7 am – 2 pm
  • Thursday : 7 am – 2 pm
  • Friday : Closed
  • Saturday : 7 am – 2 pm
  • Sunday : Closed

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide preventive and periodontal care (scaling, root planing, fluoride, sealants, whitening)
  • Collaborate with Dentist on diagnosing treatement.
  • Support treatement case acceptance through patient education, follow-up and warm case handoffs to assistants or front office.
  • Educate patients on brushing, flossing, appliance care, and periodontal health
  • Take x-rays, perform periodontal screenings, and assess oral health
  • Document findings, treatment, and patient history accurately
  • Observe and report any signs of distress or medical concerns
  • Maintain clean, sterilized treatment rooms
  • Collaborate with a respectful and supportive dental team

    • Requirements

  • Active Dental Hygiene License in Illinois
  • Local Anesthesia Certified, preferred but not required
  • Laser Debridement Certified, preferred but not required
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude
  • Great with patient education and communication
